The Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH ) has been granted a membership at the World Crafts Council Asia-Pacific region with the support of all members.
The selection of ADACH came within the activities of the 16th World Crafts Council International General Assembly held in Hangzhou, China from 4th - 10th November, 2008.

Amateur and professional photographers are being urged to enter the third Emirates Photography Competition to help preserve the heritage of the nation.
The Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (Adach) hopes the 2009 competition will be an incentive to capture the beauty of the country's animals, desert and cities.

Khalifa names Abu Dhabi Culture and Heritage Authority board Posted on 08/02/2006
President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, has issued an Emiri decree naming board of directors of the Abu Dhabi Culture and Heritage Authority.
According to the decree, the board shall be chaired by Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority.
