The UAE Red Crescent Authority has spent a total amount of Dh170, 283,397 on its external projects during the first half of this year. The projects include relief assistance, charity, building and development projects as well as orphan sponsorship programme.

The UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) has started a programme to distribute Iftar meals to the Palestinian refugees stranded in the Syrian-Iraqi borders. The UAE's Red Crescent Authority (RCA) yesterday delivered 50 tonnes of high-quality palm dates to Jordanian Red Crescent. The consignment which is part of President H.H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan's palm date grant to sisterly and friendly countries was handed over to Jordanian Red Crescent officials in presence of a representative of the UAE Embassy in Amman.
