United Arab Emirates and Greece initialled on Tuesday a draft treaty for the avoidance of double taxation on income. The agreement was reached at the end of the first round of negotiations that started in Athena earlier in May. The next round will be held in UAE in September. The third round of negotiations to avoid double taxation between UAE and Japan will begin in Tokyo yesterday. The UAE delegation to the negotiation table is led by Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance and Industry Khalid Ali Al Bustani and is consisted of officials from Foreign Ministry, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Central Bank.
